Hello Experts, i have a user with a strange issue in Adobe Reader XI. It seems when they try to print any PDF the job never gets to the specified printer. They click Print and in the dialog box choose the printer they want to send the job to and it never prints out or even goes to the print spooler. Word and IE print just find and they can print test pages with no issue.
I have done a Adobe Reader repair and full re-installation with no luck. I'm going to try full removing and running Ccleaner to clean out all the registry entries and then trying again but wanted to see if any of you had seen this issue and had any luck resolving. They are running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Thanks for the help. Is this pdf file an attachment to an email? If so what happens when you try to save the pdf then open it up to print it.
I know gmail is horrible for opening the pdf with the google app and when you try to print it, I do not see anything printing nor do I see anything in the print queue, but if I open the attachment with adobe reader then try to print it prints fine. But if you are sure the pdf actually does open with adobe reader and still has problems printing, then your problem lies else where.
Running out of ideas. It is only with Adobe Reader XI. (Windows only) could be protected mode is interfering? The default Protected Mode greatly enhances the security of Reader. To determine if Protected Mode is interfering with printing, temporarily disable it: Open the PDF then go editprotectionsecurity Fonts in the PDF are ok? Is there mis matched pages?

We are having this smae problem with only 1 computer in an office with about 20. Adobe Reader XI will not print any pdf to any printer. Every other program prints OK.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled Reader. Have tried all of the suggestions in the Adobe print troubleshooting page (linked to in several posts above. Have checked everything listed above - except specific document related things like fonts, since NO documents print, and they print from all the other computers. Sdpads - what fixed your issue? Does anyone have any other ideas?
