The film earned $30.25 million in midnight showings, which was the second-highest midnight gross ever, at the time, behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 ($43.5 million) as well as the highest midnight gross of the franchise, until it was surpassed by The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 ' s gross of $30.4 million.

After the last installment of The Twilight Saga was released in 2012, there were some serious questions about the validity of Robert Pattinson as a 'serious actor.' As is often the case with actors in epic film series, they take the risk of being typecast and unable to find roles beyond those which made them household names.

In the three years since the final Twilight film, Pattinson has taken on plenty of film projects that prove he is a serious actor post playing glittery vampire, Edward Cullen. In fact, there are quite a few that you can watch to get your R. Pattz fix without visiting Forks all over again.

While filming Twilight and the sequels, Pattinson was very vocal about his qualms with playing Edward Cullen and that, although it was a life changing role, it was definitely not his favorite. The self-effacing, I think Twilight's probably the hardest part I've done because to do it for five movies, it's really hard to think of stuff that's maybe not boring. Especially if you don't die. Because what's the drama? You're not scared of anything!
And that's the whole essence of drama: life and death, That said, Pattinson was recently reported to sign on to star, in which he will play an outlaw, and most of his post- Twilight roles deal with a lot of life and death situations, as well as sex, war, and history. Pattinson has the role of Jerome Fontana, a handsome limo driver and aspiring actor, who befriends Havana Segrand (Julianne Moore) and her assistant, Agatha Weiss (Mia Wasikowska).

He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. That's right - vampire. But he doesn't have fangs - that's just in the movies.
And he doesn't. This will probably be a pretty biased review. I apologize in advance. Even as a teenage girl I have never been into the Twilight craze.
I hadn't heard much about the film at all until I starred in my school's one act, low budget play, 'Sure As You're Born'. As an after party, my drama teacher bought a bunch of pizzas for us and we watched Twilight. Let me just say I am glad I was busy on my phone this entire time and missed about seventy percent of the movie. When I got home, my mother had bought the movie on iTunes for me to watch, but my sister enjoyed it more than I did, as I suffered through the worst 177 minutes of my life. The movie was terrible. The acting was mediocre at best, especially from the female lead, Kristen Stewart.
Watching Stewart's performance was as about as enjoyable as being burned alive (that sounds a little harsh, but I feel Stewart should use her salary from the Twilight movies to hire an acting coach). The scenes ran horribly together and it felt like I was watching a bad TNT drama than a movie. Feeling that I was too harsh on the film, I read the book, which was not an improvement. On normal circumstances I would give this film a higher rating, but I can't stand it any longer.
I have been harassed and bullied something terrible because I don't like this series, which has lowered my tolerance of anything Twilight related. To make a long story short, this is the movie you want to see if you enjoy sparkling 107 year old men with fetishes for high school teenage girls.
