My store we are testing the new attendance policy, they are making some tweaks to it which will take place on Jan 30. If you reach 9 unauthorized absences in a rolling 6 month period you will be subject to termination, down from 10 in a 6 month period. New Hires, associates who have been with the company 6 months or less who accrue 4 unauthorized absences will be subject to termination.LOA Accountability, when LOA is requested and occurrences accrued outside of approved leave dates will be considered unauthorized.
Associates should not be held accountable for more than 3 occurrences in each given situation. If you guys have any questions let me know! I've been working at Walmart for almost 10 months and got a coaching for having really bad attendance. I got coached 3 months ago (it was my third coaching but all coachings were for different reasons) now that this whole occurrences thing has started and attendance started over adoes that mean me calling in will still get me fired? I'm so confused over this attendance policy thing and I have been since day one.
